French IP attorneys’ identity theft alert

With us
PubliƩ le 11 September 2025

Our association, the National Association of Industrial Property Attorneys (CNCPI), has informed us that several companies have received fraudulent emails from impostors posing as intellectual property attorneys. These messages, sent out in huge numbers, offer legal services in an urgent context, particularly in relation to the “loss of right”.

If you receive such messages, please forward them to us immediately, and we will take the necessary action.

As a reminder, all our messages are sent from email addresses using the domain name @brandon-ip.com.

Do not reply to messages from other addresses, and do not click on any links.

It has been identified that some messages originate from a fraudulent website, mbulaw.com, based abroad (the United States), using the name and status of a Parisian law firm, which is also a victim.
