A few figures about patent applications

SMEs are at the origin of a growing number of patent applications in France: 21.2%. This figure has been steadily increasing since 2012, i.e. 6.9% in 4 years. Over the same period, the majority of patent applications were filed by large companies (56.8%) and 7.8% by mid-sized companies. (INPI report)
